Occupying Your Tao
CREATIVITY AND LIFE MYTH
Presented by Emetchi
March 16th to 18th, 2012
Melbourne, Australia
To be occupying your Tao means to be living in harmony in the present moment with the flow of events and experiences that Life delivers, both those we choose and have control over and also those that are unexpected and out of our conscious control. The winds of change, challenge and chaos blow through our lives no matter who we are, what we have or how we identify ourselves. Environmental disasters, acts of terrorism, shaky financial markets, political social economic and interpersonal changes impact us all and as the Taoists say "the only thing that doesn't change is change itself".
How to respond and relate to this phenomena in a way that makes it meaningful and enriching rather than only frightening and oppressive is a journey for each of us to live; this can become a process of deeply creative journeying. Fortunately Process Work has a map we can use, methods to track our path and best of all, we each have our own key to unlock some of the mysteries and blocks along the way!
The map consists of an understanding of reality being composed of both the everyday normal consensus level where we have our personal history with it's tragedies and triumphs, as well as the deeper-down ineffable immaterial non-consensus level. From a Process Work perspective both levels of reality are needed for optimal health and happiness; and why settle for less? The deeper down level of non consensus reality is what Amy Mindell, one of the key founders of Process Work, calls the Intentional field, it's what the physicists recognise as The Quantum Wave and which the Taoists know as The Tao Which Cannot be Spoken. In Australia it has long been lived as the Dreamtime.
The intent of this seminar is to explore and play in and around the intersection of consensus and non-consensus realities, the everyday and the eternal; to learn fresh ways of "shamanising" into your own creative flow; and to find and use the key to this adventure which is embedded in the construct of your Life Myth.
The Life Myth is applicable to both individuals and couples as well as families, groups, organisations and companies. If you identify as an artist, as a student of Process Work and/or of Life, a CEO or a homebody or you refuse to categorise yourself and you are interested in learning and experimenting with how to widen and deepen your doors of perception, try out new ways of engaging with your indigenous creativity, understand your life myth and prehaps shift the assemblage point of your known identity, then this seminar is ripe for you and you are most warmly invited to attend.
