OUR PROGRAMS

Leadership Development Programs

Our leadership programs assist leaders to understand and engage with the dynamic forces that shape organisational systems.
Outcomes include more congruent strategy decisions, greater consensus and alliance building, adaptable change communication and insightful conflict management. The organisational myth and participant’s own leadership myth will be examined as powerful forces for leadership.

Management Essentials

Managers exert a key influence on effective strategy implementation, staff morale and engagement.  Management Essential is a four workshop series - You as a Manager, Managing Others, Managing Conflict and Managing Change. The program’s Action-learning framework develops managers’ capacity to learn from their experience for years to come.

Stepping Up to Team Leadership

In the transition to leadership critical attitudes and enduring practices form.  This program explores the team leader's role and responsibilities, examines common role conflicts and develops key skills and confidence in managing programs and staff.

Navigating Change

Management groups and teams completing this program will map the change journey, clarify goals and resistance forces, plan for change and learn to manage complexity and uncertainty. A systems perspective will be applied to understanding the different roles or voices interacting in the change process. Programs are tailored to your needs, and to build shared understandings, plans and resources for achieving organisational change.

The Human Face of Change

Leaders are asked to guide staff through numerous changes. This workshop explores the stages individuals and teams experience in major transitions and the communication strategies useful at each stage. Building on the idea that individual and organisational change, and inner and external change are critically linked, change managers will draw on their own experiences as a guide to what is happening in the larger environment. Considering a current change context, participants will address the many roles and reactions to change, frame change messages and answer the perennial question ‘what’s in it for me’.

Dynamic Team Communication

A flexible one or two-day workshop tailored to your communication needs. Our communication tool box includes modules on constructive communication, team dynamics, team roles, giving and receiving feedback, effective meetings, decision making, problem solving, assertive communication and conflict communication skills.

Managing Conflict, Resistance & Unrest

In this advanced conflict management program, managers and HR consultants will develop an understanding of the systemic drivers of conflict - beyond mere individual differences and personality clashes. Powerful conflict intervention skills will be introduced and rehearsed to achieve a shift in conflict dynamics. A range of conflict management strategies will be evaluated to ensure the best fit between interventions and the unique circumstances of each conflict.

Care

A staff and team development program, renewing the deeper organisational or team vision, values and passion for service and working with others.

Toward Work-Life Balance

When we lose sight of the bigger picture and drown in tasks, work is not only less fun, but we are less effective. The more we understand the deeper purpose or myth underlying our life and career path, the less effortful our work is.
Reassess what is urgent and important, revisit your role and role boundaries and share practical secrets to work-life balance.  Discover the unique ‘superhero’ qualities that help you survive tough times and escape dead-end situations. Finally, explore ways of working with the internal (and sometimes external) conflicts that get in the way of a more balanced life.

Stress Management

Introductory and advanced stress management programs are available for managers and staff.

The introductory program explores the management of personal and team stress in the workplace and helps individuals develop their own coping strategies and resilience.

The advanced program explores the assessment and management of risk factors, cultural dimensions of occupational stress and legal and OH&S responsibilities for workers’ health and safety.

Praxis

A reflection on practice, based on dialogue and asking questions. Because when we ask the right questions, unimagined answers appear - two minutes, two hours, two days or two months later.

Open Space Workshops & Conferences
